💨 Abstract
The South African animated movie "David" has achieved significant success in North America, ranking second at the Hollywood box office behind "Avatar: Fire and Ash." Since its Christmas release, it has earned $75 million across 3,000 screens and remains in the Top 10 four weeks later. Directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes from Cape Town, the film was created by a team of over 400 animators and artists worldwide.
