💨 Abstract

On January 13, 2026, South Africa faces disruptive weather conditions. Level 9 warnings for heavy rainfall and flooding are issued for parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Level 6 warnings are in effect for the escarpment of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, while Level 2 warnings cover central and eastern Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
