đź’¨ Abstract
ITHUBA has secured a 12-month temporary licence to continue operating the South African National Lottery from June 1, 2025, following an agreement with the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Parks Tau, and the National Lotteries Commission. This decision aims to prevent disruptions and ensure continuous funding for good causes. Despite a high court ruling against the temporary licence, Tau is appealing, citing public interest.
