The City of Cape Town has introduced South Africa's first drive-through vehicle licence renewal service in Brackenfell. This facility allows motorists to renew their licence discs quickly, typically within five minutes, without leaving their cars. Operating Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 19:30 and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:30, the service is cashless, accepting only card payments.
