💨 Abstract
Suspected ADF rebels violently attacked a Catholic church in Komanda last night, killing 34-43 worshippers and injuring 15 others. The attackers stormed the church during a night vigil, armed with guns and machetes, causing widespread panic. Local officials and civil society leaders condemned the killings and called for immediate military intervention. This incident is one of the deadliest in Ituri province this year, with the ADF targeting churches and schools.
