In July 2025, the Department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in South Africa announced significant fuel price increases. Petrol prices rose by 55 cents per litre for 93, 52 cents per litre for 95, and diesel prices increased by 82 cents for 0.05% and 84 cents per litre for 0.005%.
