💨 Abstract
The South African government has announced a Commission of Inquiry to investigate allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. The investigation, ordered by President Cyril Ramaphosa, will examine the infiltration of criminal syndicates into the South African Police Service, the National Prosecuting Authority. Additionally, concerns have been raised about police minister Senzo Mchunu.
