💨 Abstract
President Cyril Ramaphosa has placed Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on leave following allegations made by KZN top cop Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. Firoz Cachalia will act as police commissioner during Mchunu's absence. A Commission of Inquiry has been established to investigate claims of criminal infiltration within law enforcement intelligence. The decision follows a serious allegation of police minister Senzo Mchunu.
