💨 Abstract

The Department of Basic Education has confirmed that the third term ends on **Friday, 3 October 2024**, followed by a **five-day October holiday** (including weekends). Schools reopen on **Monday, 13 October** for Term 4, the shortest term of the year, ending on **10 December**. Matric exams begin on **21 October** and conclude on **27 November**.
