💨 Abstract
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) in South Africa has advised its citizens in the Middle East to leave the region due to escalating tensions and attacks. DIRCO encourages South Africans to use available flight opportunities to depart while they can. Over 6,400 South Africans have registered their presence in the region, with most in the UAE and Doha. DIRCO also discourages non-essential travel to the area until the security situation stabilizes.
