💨 Abstract
The South African government, through DIRCO, is working to identify and repatriate South Africans stranded in the Middle East due to escalating violence. President Cyril Ramaphosa assured that efforts are being made to bring citizens home safely once airspaces reopen. The Department of International Relations is coordinating with embassies to assess the situation and provide necessary support. The exact number of stranded South Africans is yet to be determined.
