💨 Abstract
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) condemn President Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to place Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on "special leave." The EFF asserts this move shields Mchunu from accountability amid corruption allegations and political meddling. They argue it violates the Constitution and allows Mchunu to retain a ministerial salary while a non-Cabinet member acts in his position, which the EFF claims violates Section 98 of the Constitution.
