💨 Abstract
South Africa has experienced 170 consecutive days without load shedding, with only 26 hours recorded in April and May 2025. Eskom plans to return 2,400MW of capacity by November 2025, projecting no load shedding through March 2026. Improvements in plant performance and reduced unplanned outages (UCLF at 25.16%) have contributed to stability.
