💨 Abstract

Eskom reports that South Africa's power grid remains stable, with no load shedding expected this summer. The improvement is due to the Generation Recovery Plan, which has increased the Energy Availability Factor to 70.45% and reduced unplanned outages. The completion of Kusile Power Station adds 9,600MW to the grid. Eskom aims to eliminate load reduction in high-risk areas by addressing illegal connections and upgrading infrastructure.
