💨 Abstract
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and MEC for Transport Kedibone Diale-Tlabela will launch tamper-proof number plates on June 5 to combat crime like hijacking and robberies. The new plates aim to prevent fraud and ensure all manufacturers operate legally. Lesufi previously highlighted issues with undocumented cars and non-compliant number plates contributing to crime. The launch is set to enhance safety and accountability in Gauteng.
