đź’¨ Abstract
Deputy President Paul Mashatile of South Africa has denied owning a R28 million villa in Constantia, despite declaring it in his 2025 financial report. He claims the property is owned by his son-in-law and publicly asserts that he does not use government money for personal property. Mashatile owns three properties worth over R65 million, but his annual salary is R3.2 million, making his bond repayments seem disproportionately high.
