💨 Abstract
The EFF has celebrated a Gauteng High Court ruling finding Kenny Kunene guilty of hate speech for calling Julius Malema a "cockroach." The court ordered Kunene to issue a public apology, pay legal costs, and refrain from using the derogatory term. The EFF criticized Kunene and his party, the Patriotic Alliance (PA), for perpetuating hateful rhetoric, claiming it reflects a failure in South Africa's prison rehabilitation system.
