Liam Jacobs, a former DA MP, has been named the Patriotic Alliance's (PA) candidate for Cape Town mayor in the 2026 elections. At 24, Jacobs will also lead the PA's youth wing. He previously sought mayoral ambitions in Tshwane and served as a councillor in Johannesburg. Jacobs promises inclusive governance and youth empowerment in Cape Town.
