đź’¨ Abstract
Former South African minister and ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, died by suicide in Paris on 30 September 2024. He left a farewell message to his wife, Philisiwe Buthelezi, before his death. His body was found in a hotel courtyard after he forced open a secured window. The Paris Prosecutor’s Office confirmed no foul play.
