💨 Abstract
Former South African Cabinet Minister and Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, died in Paris in a suspected suicide. French investigators found no signs of forced entry or struggle in his hotel room. Mthethwa had checked into the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile on September 29, the same day he was reported missing. His wife received a farewell message from him that evening. The investigation is ongoing, and officials caution against premature conclusions.
