💨 Abstract

Febe Potgieter-Gqubule, ANC's Head of Policy and Research, defended President Cyril Ramaphosa against accusations of misrepresentation by the Democratic Alliance (DA). She clarified that Ramaphosa's comments about ANC municipalities were aimed at encouraging learning from successful DA-governed areas. Ramaphosa had stated that only DA-run municipalities achieve clean audits, which he finds hurtful.
