💨 Abstract

Many airlines, including Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air, are now banning the use of power banks during flights due to safety concerns. These devices, which use lithium-ion cells, have been linked to overheating and fire risks. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has documented 50 incidents involving power banks on planes. Passengers can still bring power banks in hand baggage but must keep them visible and unconnected to seat power ports.
