đź’¨ Abstract
Johannesburg's City Power has temporarily suspended load reduction during peak times until the end of January 2025 due to a significant drop in electricity demand observed during the festive season. Many companies, industries, and residents travelling away from Johannesburg contributed to the decrease in electricity consumption. City Power will continue to eradicate illegal connections as part of their comprehensive load reduction measures.
