💨 Abstract
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Tshwane destroyed over 6.4 million milliliters of illegal alcohol seized during a year-long operation across 36 police stations. The destruction, part of their zero-tolerance stance on illegal trading, aimed to curb crimes associated with alcohol abuse, such as domestic violence and assault. SAPS warned that non-compliant liquor traders face fines, closure, and confiscation of stock.
