💨 Abstract
The Hawks, South Africa's crime investigation unit, rescued four stolen lion cubs and arrested two adults and a minor attempting to sell them for R100,000 each. The cubs were stolen from a farm in Viljoenskroon, Free State. The suspects, including a SAPS administrative clerk, were charged under the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act. The cubs were returned to their owner.
