💨 Abstract
Chinese e-commerce giant Temu has opened a local warehouse in South Africa, promising faster delivery times for shoppers. Until now, all items were shipped from China, with some deliveries taking days or weeks. With the new local warehouse, items marked as "local" can be delivered within one or two days in some cases, which will significantly improve the shopping experience for South African users. Details about which courier will handle domestic deliveries have not been disclosed.
