💨 Abstract
Starting from Wednesday, visitors from over 50 countries, including the US, Canada, and Australia, must pay for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK. The new system, aimed at tightening border security, requires pre-travel authorisation and costs £10. The ETA allows stays of up to six months at a time over two years. The scheme will be expanded to EU countries in April.
