**Summary:** South African police intensified efforts to combat cash-in-transit (CIT) heists, resulting in arrests and fatalities. In KwaZulu-Natal, two suspects were killed in a shootout, and two others were arrested. One of the arrested men was a former security company employee. In Limpopo, one suspect was arrested, and a vehicle was recovered after a failed heist. Police warn of three armed suspects still at large.
