💨 Abstract
In August 2025, South African motorists may see a mixed impact on fuel prices. Petrol prices are projected to decrease by 35 cents for 93 octane and 30 cents for 95 due to recent market conditions. However, diesel prices are expected to rise by 63 to 65 cents per litre. The projected changes are influenced by a weakened rand and rising Brent crude prices.
