💨 Abstract
South African Airways (SAA) will launch its first direct flights between Cape Town and Mauritius starting December 9, 2025. The service will initially operate three times a week, aiming to boost tourism for both destinations. This route is part of SAA's strategy to enhance leisure travel and support broader tourism objectives. From January to March 2026, the route will shift to a twice-weekly operation to align with seasonal travel demand.
