đź’¨ Abstract
The youngest dinosaur tracks in Southern Africa, dating to about 132 million years ago, were discovered near Knysna. This finding suggests dinosaurs survived longer in the region than previously believed. The tracks, found by ichnologists, include those of theropods and ornithopods or sauropods. The discovery highlights the potential for more Cretaceous fossil finds in the Western and Eastern Cape, offering new insights into the region's prehistoric past.
