đź’¨ Abstract
South Africa's Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) has declared Israeli Deputy Ambassador Ariel Seidman persona non grata, giving him 72 hours to leave the country. This decision follows alleged violations of diplomatic norms, including insulting attacks on President Cyril Ramaphosa via Israeli social media platforms and failure to notify DIRCO of senior Israeli officials' visits. DIRCO stated these actions breach the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and undermine bilateral trust.
