đź’¨ Abstract
Zimbabwean police in Beitbridge destroyed 24 pressure boats used by smugglers to transport goods and undocumented migrants across the Limpopo River. Several suspects were arrested, and community intelligence played a crucial role in dismantling smuggling networks. The operation aims to curb illegal activities that cost Zimbabwe millions in unpaid customs duties annually. Common smuggled items include building materials, vehicles, and minerals. Police have warned that those involved in smuggling will face legal consequences.
