💨 Abstract

A 39-year-old Zimbabwean man was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Sibasa Regional Court in Limpopo, South Africa, for raping his 13-year-old daughter. The abuse began after he brought her to South Africa for the school holidays in 2020. The court protected the child's identity and added the man to the National Sexual Offenders Register. The prosecution emphasized the severity of the crime and the accused's betrayal of trust.
