💨 Abstract

Cricket South Africa (CSA) praised the Proteas Women for their historic runners-up finish in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, marking South Africa’s first-ever World Cup final appearance. Led by captain Laura Wolvaardt and coach Mandla Mashimbyi, the team showcased resilience and unity, setting records, including Wolvaardt’s 571 tournament runs and Marizanne Kapp’s 44 wickets.
