💨 Abstract

This was the 129th race for the Hollywoodbets Durban July, which took place on July 5. The Grade 1 race, held at Hollywoodbets Greyville, offered a R5-million prize and was won by The Real Prince, led by trainer Dean Kannemeyer and jockey Craig Zackey. The race showcased some of South Africa’s finest horses, trainers, and jockeys, with the event dating back to 1897.
