South Africa coach Hugo Broos has named a 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), including 17 local-based players. Orlando Pirates dominate with nine players, while Mamelodi Sundowns contribute five. Burnley’s Lyle Foster is the only top-five European league representative. The squad features 10 players from the 2024 AFCON team, including captain Ronwen Williams.
