💨 Abstract
Build One South Africa (BOSA) is advocating for the elimination of South Africa's 30% pass mark in Parliament, arguing that it masks educational weaknesses and limits students' prospects. BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane contends that the low pass mark lowers expectations and misleads the public about the education system's performance. Parliament will vote on the motion on 2 December 2025.
