💨 Abstract
FIFA has announced a three-minute hydration break in the middle of each half for all World Cup 2026 matches, aiming to enhance player safety and reduce heat and fatigue risks. This break will also allow coaches to strategize and make adjustments. The 2026 World Cup, the first with 48 nations, will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. South Africa is in Group A with Mexico, South Korea, and an undetermined European team.
