đź’¨ Abstract
The Western Cape High Court ruled that the South African Water Polo (SAWP) organization can legally exist, refuting Swimming South Africa (SSA)'s claim of exclusive control over water polo. The court prioritized constitutional rights, allowing SAWP, founded by officials disillusioned with SSA's governance, to potentially become the national governing body.
