💨 Abstract
Starlink, the satellite internet service by SpaceX, experienced a global outage lasting approximately 2.5 hours due to a key software failure. The issue was announced on X and affected users primarily in the U.S. and Europe, starting around 21:00 SA time. Elon Musk, the company's CEO, apologized and assured users the problem was being fixed. By 05:00 SA time, the service had been restored.
