💨 Abstract
Cape Town is home to several "Champion Trees," recognized by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment for their age, heritage, or biological attributes. The Arderne Gardens in Claremont features four Champion Trees, including a 43-meter-high Norfolk Island Pine and three others. The Company’s Garden in the city center boasts a 27-meter-tall Rubber Tree. These trees are significant parts of Cape Town's heritage and are often overlooked.
