💨 Abstract
South African passport holders can visit 100 countries visa-free as of March 2026, according to the Henley Passport Index. This is a slight decrease from January 2026, when South Africans could access 101 destinations. The drop is due to the loss of visa-free access to the Falkland Islands. South Africa ranks 96th globally, tied with Belize, and behind Qatar, which offers access to 112 destinations.
