Police in KwaZulu-Natal discovered approximately R400 million in counterfeit luxury goods hidden in containers declared as furniture. Found during a cargo profiling operation in Durban, the goods included fake designer clothes, jewelry, and kitchenware. Investigators suspect the items originated from an Asian supplier and were intended for distribution in Gauteng through street vendors.
