💨 Abstract
Police have arrested a 33-year-old suspect in the murder of Karin van Aardt, a 64-year-old retired teacher killed during a smash-and-grab attack in Cape Town. The incident occurred on Jakes Gerwel Drive, where van Aardt and her husband were targeted shortly after arriving at Cape Town International Airport. The suspect, apprehended in Langa, faces charges of murder and aggravated robbery.
