💨 Abstract
A Thai factory's YouTube video revealing the manufacturing process of crab sticks has turned off many fans. The video shows grey fish blocks transformed into red-and-white sticks through machinery, adding spices, ice, oil, and sugars. Despite being a popular, cheap alternative to crab, the process has led many to dub crab sticks the "hot dog of the sea," prompting vows to stop eating them.
