💨 Abstract
Abi Feltham, now 37, began drinking at 14 to cope with trauma, including her father's suicide. Her alcohol addiction worsened over the years, leading to severe health and relationship issues. A turning point came during the COVID-19 lockdown when she returned to her childhood home and realized the extent of her addiction. She quit drinking in April 2020 and later, in 2024, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor.
