💨 Abstract
Scientists have developed a chocolate biscuit that may aid in weight loss by triggering fullness hormones. The biscuit, enhanced with a bitter extract from the absinthe plant, stimulated hormones like GLP-1, similar to weight-loss injections. A small pilot study found that participants felt less hungry throughout the day. The researchers plan a larger clinical trial and suggest that such snacks could help manage emotional eating and support weight loss. Additionally recent Studies found dark chocolate can lower blood pressure.
