💨 Abstract
Porsche will stop producing the petrol-powered 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman by October 2025, replacing them with fully electric models. This shift is driven by the push for electrification and limited parts availability, despite strong sales. Special editions like the Cayman GT4 RS and Boxster RS Spyder will also be discontinued. Porsche aims to maintain the driving character in the electric successors, but details and launch dates are yet to be revealed.
