💨 Abstract
Manchester Airport has unveiled its new security hall within Terminal 2 as part of a £1.3 billion, 10-year transformation project. The security area features advanced scanners and 10 new lanes, marking a significant step towards modernizing the airport. Passengers will eventually be able to move through security without removing liquids, though the full benefits are not yet operational. The improvements are timed to accommodate the anticipated 1 million passengers during the May half-term break.
